Let me give you an ages old admonition to everyone, not just girls.
God gave you 2 ears and 1 mouth so that you would listen twice as much as you talk.
I have also found that you learn a lot more about a person by listening and asking open ended questions like what would you. . ., where do you think. . ., what is your opinion of. . .
basically anything that cannot be answered just yes or no than you can by just talking. People are self centered. If you focus on them and let them talk you will endear yourself to them and they will really believe you care about them deeply.
Try that with your boyfriend and your other friends. Things WILL change and they will change for good.

I am a guy and I love when my girlfriend talks alot. She just has alot to say and about 99% of the time i either a) learn something or b) am entertained by what she is saying. Depends on the guy you have I guess but I like when my girlfriend talks. If I were you, I would get rid of your piece of **** boyfriend and find someone who wont say that to you.

NO. My man talks more than I do. Sometimes I can take the phone from my ear and he's still talking.
If he says you talk to much then tell him to kiss your azz and you'll find someone that DOES want to listen to you.
That is crazy. I have no clue why you young ladies put up with so much crap in the name of "Love". Love does not ask you to shut up unless it has a massive head ache or is giving birth.
Grab your bra, pull it up, tell him where to shove his attitude and find you another one. YOU have the power. You are the woman, the source of life and creation. You can have anyone you want sweetheart (and one that will listen).

Keep your mouth shut for a day when his around and i'm pretty sure he'll complain why your not talking. The sound of silence could be deafening... Ask him which he prefers for communication if he likes mental telepathy or talking using your mouth. Dont change,if talking too much makes you happy go on. Most guys wont complain.

That's not true...you just like to have interesting conversations or you're saying something that's true but he really doesn't want to hear it. The next time he says that to you tell him that he doesn't talk at all and a women don't like a boys who are boring.

HEll no! yes at times they will get annoyed but at the end of the day, they find it adorable, unless ofcourse hes a stuck up jerk. Seriously i stop talking, my guy tells me he misses it (even tho he used to say i talk too much) if he says it again, say; u got a problem if i talk too much?! or u can just say ''get used to it''.
good luck

I think it depends on what you are saying. If you prattle for hours about vain shallow things, then guys will loose interest. But if you want to discuss, and involve him in the conversation he will want to talk with you. Maybe you interrupt people and don't know it and that bothers him. I had to learn to step back and learn to just listen. I would HEAR the words they said, but I wasn't really LISTENING, if you know what I mean.

I think that you need to tell him where to go. If you talk alot it is because of your personality. Him telling you to stop talking is like telling you to stop being you. Don't listen to him. You tell him if he doesn't like it then he knows where to exit. You just be yourself and someone will come along eventually that will enjoy what you have to say and love you for everything that you have to offer. Good luck sweetie.

Not really...
It takes two hands to clap.
A good relationship should not be only one-way communication.
Maybe he needs a chance to talk to you. I believe he has lots of things to tell you.
