They don't want to get their feet dirty (especially if the floor is a little nasty lookin.)
That's my guess.
If you're talkin about walkin on a nice plush carpet, I dunno what their problem is.

Sometimes I walk on tiptoe when I'm barefoot because otherwise my heels thud into the floor and make a racket!
Most of the time I just walk normally though, but people often complain that I sound like a heard of elephanits.
I'm not fat or even heavy, it's just the way I distribute my weight or something.
When walking on tiptoes it forces me to think about how I walk rather than just thumping along!

That...is very weird! I don't walk on my tiptoes barefoot(and I'm barefoot a lot at home) unless there's water or something on the floor and I'm trying to get around it. Then I clean the floor!

I don't. Except when I'm acting like a cat or a wolf or when I'm in the basement where there's an ucky liquid covering the floor.

No, I don't walk on my tiptoes when I'm barefoot, and I haven't noticed any of my friends that do it either...

You know I do it too and I dont know why. They used to say that people who had flat feet do it. But my feet arent flat. Maybe we like to feel taller?

Yeah, I do. I do it on my driveway, mostly, because the gravel hurts my feet. If it's a lawn or something, I don't do it as much.
