I really like this guy, but he is a good friend of mine and i dont want to loose our friendship. What should i do?

i'm in the same boat. i say, go for it. that's what i'm going to do. they say the best relationships begin with friendship. if he's really a friend, he will continue to be one even if things don't work out. hope they do. good luck

Start dating as friends, like going out to dinner, trying to know eachother on a different level and if it seems to weird go back to being friends, if anything else you saw a couple good movies and had some good food.

Consider why he is your friend...
Does he like the same activities as you?
Does he believe in the same things as you?
Does he give you vibes he is interested?
etc.
Now consider what you don't like about him..
Does he like some things that you find repulsive?
Does he have any quirks that "need to be worked on"?
Will he insist on seeing other people or friends?
etc.
Now ask yourself, what will be the end-point of dating him? 1-date, 10-dates, 100-dates or 1000-dates.
Sum up your thoughts as well as your feelings.

I did the same thing girl n messed up at first wen we first broke up be we are very mature so we got back on track as being friends so do u thang girl just be very mature a bout it

no i think you should tell him how you feel me might feel the same way. also if you say yes start the relationship with an open mind if you can't tell him how you feel what good is he ask yourself these questions: does he make you laugh? dopes he make you smile? can you trust him?etc. if you answer yes then you should give him a shot if yo u do breakup ask him not to have it ruin your relationship forever
