No! The Nazi soldiers were not forced so say such things. The entire files on the Trials can be found in Wikipedia or if you prefer a more reliable source, "International Law, Fouth Edition by West Group - ISBN - 0-314-237464-X".
However, if you are begging for a rebuttle to your very obvious scream for Zionist causal, then I should warn you to keep an open and objective mind to such event, and question any claims of "truth" or "facts".
First of all, the Holocaust is an American Idea aimed to gain sympathy for one race at the expense of others. The event that led up to WW2 were in no way a to help those being killed by Nazi Germany. It was to prevent the terretorial and economic as well as military expassion of Nazi Germany that was long ingnored and before it was too late to be stopped.
Following WW1, Europe was dumbfounded by strong anti-semetic sentiment. This caused targeted attacks that were both by civilians and organized government bodies, against Jews. However, other groups were targeted as well, most famous of them were the Gypsies and the Kurds. All of these three major groups, were labeled in Germany as "inferior". They were commony called the "cancer" or Germany (Aryan) society and the economy.
Nazi came into power with the promise of making Germany into the country it once was and taking the nation out of economic depression. It first wanted to take out any racial groups that "stuck to their own". The Gypsies and the some Jews, fit into this category. So, he drove them into areas that were not well endowed for economic prosperity, and so, he deprived these groups of the ability to succeed economicly and socially.
The best schools where in areas away from Jewish and Kurish communities. The same for hospitals, jobs and transportation. Very few were allowed to own their own land, and almost none were allowed to go into the white collar field like, medicine or law.
Once economic strangulation was complete, the propoganda machine was used to make the civilians do all the dirty work. Hate against the "inferior class" was spread and civilians started targeting these classes by destroying stores, to even killing them or hurting them on the streets. What did the police and army do in Germany? Sit and watch obviously, so that no German (Aryan) would get hurt in the process.
Germany staged attacks on civilians and militants and claimed that they were the rebels from the "inferior class". Some actual resistance was also present. This fuled the fire and Hitler gained the green light to go in and kill as many Jews and Gypsies as he could, because this to the people was revenge and a means of stopping future attacks against the German population.
However, it is worth nothing that there were Jews and Gypsies as well as Kurds who lived within the German population that shared the same privilages.
The "Concentration camps" and the numbers of deaths are very questionable.
According to German soldiers and European Soldiers (France, Italy); the camps where nothing more than prisons with poor living conditions so as to drive all the prisoners into starvation and almost certain death.
However, survivors of these camps tell different stories. Some share the view of the German and European soldiers, some say that they were used as medical lab rats, targets for military training, forced into preforming sexual deeds (women survivors), and subjected to biochemical torture and executions.
Historians and experts call these memories the effects of post-dramatic stress syndrome and the result of the brain's Active Rewrite Process. They have strong evidence that suggests the "gas" that was claimed to be used is one that is very sticky, highly toxic and takes months to be washed away. However, there is footage of bodies being carried out by german soldiers wearing no protective gear, bodies that are claimed to have died as a result of this gas. If that was truly the cause of their death, the German soldiers would have died within 40 seconds of carrying their body.
Furthermore, it is claimed that over 6 million Jews died during the Holocaust. However, there were slightly less than 800,000 Jews living in Germany, Austria and Poland at the time Hitler came into power. The remaining Jewish populations had fled to (Spain, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, and the United States).
It is also worth mentioning that no other groups other than Jews are mentioned in these numbers. The recorded death tolls of nearly 300,000 Gypsies, Kurds, Slavs and Gays, go unmentioned.
When the Trials took place under the Universal Jurisdiction of the Superpowers at the time, Germany was allowed to present a defence, but it was clear that the jury did not seem ready to entertain any defence the Germans were ready to present. The German coucil (lawyer), told the soldiers that it made no difference what they said, they would be convicted under this "new law".
The German officers had no reason to lie at that point, their words live of in history as perhaps the most major case in International Law.
However, the German officers were convicted, and though the case was at some points unjust, it was fair and very well needed!
The gist of the case said that each one of us, before we are a member of our city, of our state, of our country; we are a member of the international community, and for actions taken against the best interests of the international community; regaurdless if they may be beneficial to ones' country, each "individual"; regaurdless if he or she is a general, soldier or civilian, bears responsibility for their actions.
O.K., because i'm tired of writing..
PLEASE DON'T RESPOND TO THIS BY ASKING ME WHY THE ISRAELI ARMY GOES UNPUNISHED FOR DOING THE SAME IN PALESTINE!

You should read the book "Never the Last Journey" by Felix Zandman, a Jew from the town of Grodno, Poland. As a boy, he "escaped" the Holocaust by living for years with several others in a tiny dugout under the floorboards of a Polish Catholic cottage. The rest of his family was murdered at Auschwitz. Years later, as a successful and self-made American businessman (Vishay Intertechnology, on the New York Stock Exchange) he visited Grodno to see his former home. Before the war, half of the 30,000 inhabitants had been Jews. He asked the Mayor of Grodno if there was a memorial to them or if he could pay to build one. The mayor answered "But there were never any Jews in Grodno".
True, not all of the hundreds of Nazi camps were initially established as extermination camps, but many worked the prisoners to death. In the Ruhr valley, many of the prisoners forced to work in the Krupp armament factories were not even allowed to take cover during allied bombings.

Let me guess...you must be a neonazi. There's no excuse for this kind of ignorance. The facts are well documented. Hitler professed his hatred of Jews in nearly every one of his speeches, and history books are full of pictures of the atrocities in the concentration camps. If some of the prisoners starved to death rather than being gassed, that's not any better. If anything, it's even more inhumane.

This is sick even for you! These monsters kill over six million innocent people not just Jews but catholics, homosexuals, Gypsy's, people with mental disorders, deformed people, retarded people and basically anyone who disagreed with the Nazi party. Whether by poison gas or exposure to the cold what is the difference? They were still dead and as for treatment of Nazi POW's they were never forced to confess it wasn't necessary we had all the records and testimony of survivors

Basic soldiers weren't tortured. They weren't even tried for war crimes. Because they didn't do anything. However, if records showed that they managed a camp, or worked at one doing anything bad, then they were tried. People higher up in the chain of command were also taken into custody.

With anti-semitic (Shem was a black man... In fact Moses was black too) thus a true anti-semite is an anti-blackman... such as all the racist Jew/Zionista that have infiltrated the societies of the world to spread thier racist plague.... Not to mention what you propose sounds totally believable.... In fact I don't think there was a holocaust I think it's all an invention of the so-called Jews propaganda machine to garner the sympathy of people while they seek to accomplish there evil ends....

Apparently you cannot read or process visual imagery, because the number of books and photos corroborating this atrocity are legion. Because you are so ignorant as to ask such an inane, insensitive question, you deserve no further consideration. Enough of you.
