About as long as it takes the other teams to get some life to try and chase them down.
I think it hurt when they lost Mulder to injury, but as well, most of the team has wilted in the heat wave...They need to shake up the offense, and get some fresh blood in the lineup, or they're going to be watching the playoffs at home.

With the exception of the Mets the rest of the NL is pathetic. Even with as poorly as the Cardinals have played they are still probably the 2nd best team in the League.

They snapped out of it last night, and they still lead the Reds by 3.5 games. I have no doubts that their losing ways are over, and they will win their division by 9 or more games. Have faith!!
Cheers!!
