Because Iraq is really not a "warzone" with rocket launchers ,bomber & fighter jets bombing roads, buildings and artillery positions. Todays Iraq is more of our soldiers trying to keep peace amongst continued violence between Sunni & Shiite Muslims and occasional car bombs. If the news covered a checkpoint in Iraq for 30 minutes, no one would watch.

The government is only too glad to have a diversion from Iraq where the situation is getting worse daily. We are killing many more civilians than in either Lebanon or Israel.

we are fighting the iraq war to teach and train the iraqi government to be able to protect themselves and be free and other reasons to help their government . Most of the military in the lebannon war will be the iraqi soldiers with some of our help , this is the time that will show if the work done in iraq was worth it

It hasn't. It is all the same war- this is just round two: closing the left flank.
No one in the media can see past the next fifteen minutes, so don't be surprised about that.

It's newer,has more missles ,jets, bigger craters. Don't have to edit any dead americans out of the video so it's easier to get the footage to air.
