(i was 8 at the time), sitting on a bench outside the Baskin Robbins ice cream shop w/my grandfather. i remember that i was to short to rest my feet on the ground like my granddaddy..so i swung my feet back and forth...eating my mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone. i always got mint chocolate chip when i went w/ my granddaddy. he had a cone too, and we would just sit like that until we were done.
my granddaddy passed away about a yr later. i was very close to him, i miss him dearly. every time i have mint chocolate chip...i remember him, and swinging my short little legs on that bench!

well, my fondest memory is my and my boyfriend's very first meet. It was as sweet as honey. He straightaway proposed to me and smooched me. In India, this is considered tooooo much to smooch on the first meet. Though today we are 253km. away from each other we still talk on phones and I believe in him more than myself.

The day my first child was born. It was an experience that I will never forget. Of course, now that she's 11 ,and has a mouth, I have to concentrate harder on that memory of fondness, J/K :)

Hiking with my brother about a year ago. We got to talk and hang out for a couple days with no interruptions of outside influences. Plus, we got to climb mountains together. That was great fun.

there's a man made lake in our community. on some days, i would go running with this girl. we'd just walk a bit, talk about random things, and stuff. the lake was pretty at sunrise and it was fun getting weird looks from old people walking around. it was a great time of my life, but we weren't together or anything.
...these days my parents don't let me go out to go run with her anymore. *sigh*

when my mother was pregnant with my first brother, and she was telling me that i was going to have a little brother or sister. i told her that i only wanted a sister, and she said that might have a little boy. so then i told her that in that case, i just wanted a puppy. and then i got a brother, and then another one, and i still dont have a puppy.
