I want to call someone who lives in a different state, how much would it cost to talk per minute? Im talking about using a pay phone. I dont want to buy a phone card so Im wondering can I use coins instead?

just dial the number first and you will hear that computerized lady tell you the call requires an initial deposit of... and after that just keep putting in more and more

The pay phone will tell you. Its probly alot cheaper to get a phone card though.

On the phone booth things don't they have a thing that says how much long distance costs and stufff and why don't you just use your own phone?

just buy one of those calling cards at grocery stores...they are as cheap as $2 and 5...
