No ...i don't think he was disappointed in very personal level ...given all the antisemitic thought he carried.....i guess he personally feels relieved that he doesn't have to make those series...............In addition i think that reason he took on that project was because he wanted to show he wasn't antisemitic after making passion of Christ.
