Don't let it freak you out....Just be honest with her and tell her you are not sure how to handle the situation.Make perfectly clear to her that you are not gay and if you feel comfortable enough to stay her friend, I am sure she will like that. It has to be hard on her and she must trust you as a friend to tell you. It is not always easy for a gay person to "come out" they lose friends, and family sometimes in the process. Sometimes people even become depressed and suicidal because they fell noone loves them for who they are. You know she is still the same person you knew yesterday, you just know something different about her.

Treat her the same way you have always have. So she's homosexual, but she isn't an alien. I guess there would be concern that she may have interest in you, but you don't have to freak out about it. If there is, then just let her know that you don't love her in /that/ way.

Well first think about how you defined her as; you said your friend right? So that means you shouldn't be freaked out, plus most likely you probably aren't her type.

i have have similiar situation, i found my friend is a gay. if you and her is just friends , you still can go out with her and just be friends but at the same time you should make sur eweather she had crush on you or not.

Why is this even an issue. Does it really matter who she sleeps with? IF she is your friend it wont matter. Its not a disease and has no effect on you. Open your mind sweetheart be happy for her.
