my ipod nano doesn't show up on itunes...?

my ipod nano doesn't show up on itunes and I restored it and updated, i got the new version on itunes and everything and it still doesn'r show up in my itunes. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!

you may have to re-install itunes...it could have been the new version of itunes that screwed things up.
