You know what's wrong with the haters? They're IGNORANT. They are people who are just here to get the fans p*ssed off. If someone were to post the same stupid stuff about their favorite sport, they would get just as ticked off! They get their kicks by acting superior and putting down those who like racing, which they think is 'inferior' and 'uncool'...They just want to be 'cool' and 'bada**' to their imbecile, dimwitted peers!

Its snobbery, people who dont watch nascar but who say it isnt a sport or not good racing are playing the snob game, they will hand you that F1 crap and then talk about superior technology but its really just snobbery. People see nascar as a redneck hick sport when its far from it in reality. They dont want to "soil" their hands with dirty nascar racing so they poopoo it. I dont have that problem I race in a Porsche centric sportscar series, I love rally racing and find touring cars interesting but I also like nascar because the drivers are good lads with skills, the cars are interesting and the manufacturer wars are heating up. People who dont like nascar do to snobbery are missing out.

GO DODGE!

I think the NASCAR Bunnies should stop eating grits and biscuits and gravy; that diet is obviously affecting their sense of humor. You are taking things far too seriously. For the most part, the anti NASCAR postings are designed to `wind you up' and they sure seem to work.
I have to leave now, Bobby Joe (that's the missus) and I have to load some old furniture, the barbecue and a few cases of Budweiser on the truck; we're driving to Indianapolis for the Brickyard 400 and we want to get a good camping spot in that field on Georgetown Rd.
Bobby Joe's favorite driver is Ricky Bobby and we'll have a big flag on the truck with his #131 on it; if you see us, say `hi' we're simple, but friendly folk. :-D

I am a NASCAR fan, but you have to allow people the freedom to choose their own interests. Certainly one has the right to enjoy the sport of NASCAR or not. It is not right, however, to slam somebody because of their interests, and that goes for both NASCAR fans and non-NASCAR fans.

If everybody had the same interests, why would all of the other sports exist?

I wasn't going to answer this because I love NASCAR, I don't hate it. But some of the previous answers are bugging me. Why is oval such a foreign word to people? I say strap all of the haters in cars & watch them try to drive 200 mph. That would change their tune!
**GO NASCAR! GO Dale Jr. #8!**

I think the peole who hate Nascar say it to get a rise out of us fans!

If it is a fan who says it, they are probably referring to all the haters dissing Nascar on here!
