Osama who? Oh, you mean the guy we're supposed to be looking for! Bush hasn't gotten to "My Pet Goat" yet - he's still having trouble with his "Dick and Jane" reader. Osama is sitting back laughing because Bush sent fewer troops into Afghanistan where he's hiding, preferring to send the bulk of the troops into Iraq where they had no business being.

Your ignorance is showing. The President (any party) takes a vacation, but is always in touch and capable of making what ever decisions he or she has to make. Why are you so stuck on Bin Laden?

bin laden is with Howard Dean helping cooridinate the DNC. I also think your buddy bin also works part time at a 7-11 in your home town.

Do you think that just because our President is on vacation that the military, defense agencies, counter-terrorism agencies, intelligence agencies, etc stop working? No...they're still doing their job (as far as we know) and are hunting for bin Laden.
He is entitled to vacation as much as we are. Plus, his job is a lot more stressful and I'm glad he's trying to relax his mind a little bit.

Presidents never really 'vacation'. They don't take days off. They still have to run the country, wherever they are. They still take daily briefings, hold meetings, meet with foreign dignitaries, etc. Because of the telecommunications revolution, you could call this 'telecommuting'. He's working from home.
