Abercrombie & Fitch is disgusting and so is target clothing. And it is embarassing that you go shopping with your parents. Go shopping at an store, like Neiman Marcus or Saks where it really doesn't matter if you are with your parents are not, because you'll have assistants, well I don't know if you will, but most of the time it's possible...

Use your "cool" older family members, like the cool older brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. If you don't have any, let your parents get familiar with your friends so they'll feel comfortable with them taking you to the mall. Try to convince your parents that you feel "babied" with them shopping with you and tell them that the next time they take you shopping, could they walk around together as a couple and give you the money and let you walk the mall by yourself. You pick where you want to shop and only pick clothes that you know they would approve of and don't overspend on one item, that shows irresponsibility. Let them call your cell phone at a certain time and have meeting points so they can see what you're buying and prove to them that you can and would prefer to shop alone. Then next time they may let you go all by yourself. Or you can just shop online if you're that shame of being in the mall with them. I know at 15, I would just get dropped off where I wanted to go if I didn't go with my older sister and I would buy what I wanted. My dad would even give me his credit card and let me get whatever I wanted. But you have to earn that type of trust.

Sweetheart, don't be swept into the land of labels. Everything abercrombie makes is sown by little children in thailand anyway. Just get great looking clothes, no matter the label, that compliment you!
I recommend that you start shopping online! One of my favorite sites (and my younger sister's) is Breezy Beach Wear. They have way cute apparel and beach accessories, similar to stuff you'd find at Hollister and Abercrombie. Check it out at www.breezybeachwear.com

ur parents are jsut being protective of you and who could blame them but there is a certain line that needs to be drawn. sit your parents down and ask, not demand, for the privelege to be able to shop at the mall with friends only and not them. tell them that all ur asking for is a little trust in u and that u'll have a fully charged cell phone or change for a pay phone every time u go. make urself seem responsible and that they can inspect everything u buy when you get home if worst comes to worst trying to convince them.

You can be glad that your folks care about you enough to not only know what you're doing, but spend quality time with you. I'm curious - who's money are you spending at the mall? You have plenty of time to be an adult (more than half your life). Enjoy being a kid and appreciate the things your parents do for you!

Try to talk about that with your mother. Tell her how you fill. Give her a perfect solution- the two of you go together in the mall, but you will do your own shopping and she will do hers. than after hour or two you two meet in a bar-save some money and buy her a coffee :)

I suggest going to the mall with your friends. Tell your parents that a bunch of your friends are all going to the mall and ask her to drop you off. Then, you'll be able to shop without your parents.

There is nothing you can do. You are a minor and your parents have the right and responsibility to make sure you are dressed and behave properly. When you are 18 and out on your own you'll be able to choose for yourself and also have to pay the consequences for your choices.
