I think it is too soon when there are certain signs...
1. you don't feel ready or don't want to have sex
2. you don't know if the person you are with loves you or cares about you enough that if something happened he would be there for you...
3. the person you want to sleep with has a bad history and you haven't dated him long
4. You have to ask if it's too soon...If you were comfortable with the idea, you wouldn't be asking. There is nothing wrong with waiting. If your guy is upset by this, then he is not someone you want to sleep with.
You will have stronger feelings for this person if you sleep with him. Make sure it is someone you know will feel the same about you. It really hurts to open yourself up to someone that doesn't care about you.

before 18. but if you like really know the person. i mean like really really know them and you dont just think that you know them then i think it would be alright, but should still of been dating a while maybe atleast 4 or 5 months. oh but you shouldnt have sex before the age of 14 or 15. i think sixteen would be okay. but the right think to do is to wait till you are married!

biologically you can have sex when you have your first period and this would be too soon !!! but the first contact with someone must be when you are ready and when you think that he is the right person for you and you trust him.. oh and also you must know very well that person :)
