I assume you have a 6.5L GM Diesel? You have to be very careful when using Bio. There are no parts made specifically for it. It can be used in a normal diesel engine. The issue is coming up with "good" fuel. It can not be acidic, and it has to be stable. Avoid Rapseed sources. Lubricity should be < 460 HFRR. Use a 2 micron fuel filter, and you may need to replace it more often. And, no Fuel systems manufacturer recomends more tnan B20.

Any diesel engine can run using bio-diesel, that's what diesels were originally made to run on. Just keep in mind that during the cleaning period were the bio diesel cleans you entire fuel system you will go through fuel filters at fast pace but once its done cleansing you will see the benefits.

Any diesel engine can burn bio-diesel, it's just that swapping out a gasoline engine for a diesel engine would be incredibly expensive. Aside from purchasing the diesel engine, the engine mounts etc. would probably have to be rebuilt.

If your Suburban is a diesel to start with, you should be able to burn the B2 diesel. If it is a gas and you mean to burn E85, only flex-fuel engines are capable to do that at this time.

Sorry, but if the engine in your car isn't designed for bio-diesel, the only way to do it is to replace the entire engine, along with the gas tank and gas lines. You're looking at close to $10,000.00 in parts and labor for that.

If you have a GAS engine, forget it.

You can run the 10% or 20% bio without mods (I think) in a diesel powered rig.

If it's already a diesel, it should run on filtered used cooking oil.
