Dress professionally, smile, sit up straight in your chair and make eye contact when answering your questions, especially if there is more than one person in the room. Go in with confidence, and be honest. Best of luck!!

1) Freshen up on what is given in your resume or your qualification and think and jot down points on the above which are relevant to the job applied.

3) Wear decent dress acceptable to the career.
4) Take all the marksheets/gradesheets and any other testimonials which may be required to be produced for verification.
5) Start and go to the place of interview well in time.

1. Smile.

2. Make eye contact with the interviewer(s).

3. Smile.

4. Think before you answer - it's a good sign if someone stops to think what they are going to say. Don't be tempted to blurt out the first thing that comes into your head.

5. Decide beforehand your answers to some typical questions, like:
* Why do you want to work here?
* What would you like to be doing in five years' time?
* Why do you think you are the best candidate for the job?

6. Smile.

7. Thank them for their time - both at the start of the interview and at the end.

8. Think up some good questions to ask them at the interview, in case they give you the chance to ask things. Like...
* What do YOU like most about working here?
* How can I contribute most to the company's success?
* How well do I compare to other candidtes?

9. Smile.

10. Enjoy the interview - it's a good opportunity for YOU to find out if you like THEM.

Oh, and good luck!

Wear a simple suit. Shake hands. Maintain eye contact, but don't stare at the interviewer. Establish rapport by commenting on the interviewer's office decor or dress (make it a generic comment or compliment, like "You have a lot of plants, you must have a green thumb" or something equally innocuous). Don't give one-word answers. Follow up on the interview immediately with an email or handwritten thank you note. Don't call and bug the interviewer daily, asking if you got the job. They will contact you. Continue to look for other jobs while you're waiting to hear.

Find out as much as you can about the business and forward thinking of the company as you can, dress smart but comfortable, look whoever is interviewing you in the eye and don't fidget, don't lie about anything or ask what the wage is the minuet you sit down, leave that as one of last questions to ask, bush up on computer skills and read about the spec and price of some of the items they sell, but don't go nuts trying to impress, just relax and be yourself and very good luck I so hope you get the job.

If you want to work at PC world then show that you have absolutely no knowledge about anything other than Packard Bell computers, have a severe lack of spacial awareness to the point that you won't be able to find your way around your own shop, and treat every customer that walks through the door as a guilty shoplifting terror suspect. You should get the Job just fine then.

I recently interviewed eleven people for a position in my office and it was insane...Be prepared to describe your skills and why the person should hire you..Do not say you are nervous, we realize that, but are looking for people who work well under pressure. Dress according to the enivironment for which you will be working in. Be honest when the interviewer asks for your weak areas but do not get on a self destruct road pointing out ALL your faults. Be confident and act professional. Be prepared to ask questions about the company, your postion, benefits, etc. By doing so, you give the impression that you are interested but not desperate.
Smile.
Good luck!

Be on time. Dress neatly and professionally. DO NOT WEAR PERFUME or heavy make-up. Listen carefully to the questions they ask you before answering. Be polite, respectful, don't try to impress them with your wit. In short, act like a mature adult. Think ahead, and have a good answer ready for this question, in case they ask it: "Why do you want to work at PC World?" Be sure to find out the names and job title of the person (or people) interviewing you, and send them a brief thank-you note for their time, after the interview.

Make sur eto look anyone you meet there in the eye and shake them firmley by the hand....especially your interviewer. answer all questions without hesitation and keep your eyes on them, don't let them wander, act like you always listen that well even if you don't (I know I don't). If they throw one of thsoe weird questions out there like "if you were a tree what kind would yu be" type questions, just answer it with a random tree because the answer more than likley doesnt matter, just seeing how you react in unexpected tight spots, just don't hesitate on any answeres you give, sound intellegent, smile, but not too much, at the end ask "Can I expect to hear from you shortly?" that let's them know you are interested. good luck!

oh, and a ew mor ethings, ask the questions about your their company, aslk about benifets, what thier goals are and what not.
and make eye contact! but dont stare because its creepy, just have a very relaxed sence about you, when they want you to look at something, look, when they are talking tio you, nothing says "Im listening" like eye contact or taking notes...but again, don't stare like a psycho.

Dress appropriately---don't be late--try to find out as much as you can about the company--look at the person's nose (that way you are still looking directly at them but not right in the eye like an idiot)---on the first interview DO NOT ask any questions about vacation time or sick time (save that for a later interview)---bring multiple copies of your resume---always follow up with a thank you note as soon as you get home---GOOD LUCK!!!

No no no, whats all this 'eye contact' fetish people are filling your head with? They'll think you're possessed! Just be your fine fabulous friendly self, remember they are half interviewing you to see if you are capable to do the job and half choosing a collegue they will have to work alongside. Shake their hands, introduce yourself, and yes do look at them but don't stare unblinking because then you'll be thinking "eyecontacteyecontacteyecontact" rather than "I'm more than capable of doing this job, I just need to prove it." Knock their socks off, don't panic and SMILE! Much luck being sent to you. P.S. Research their policies and what they do too
