I cant find an option in my Nextel voicemail that enables me to check my messages but leave some of them as "unheard" or "unchecked". Is there a way to do this?

Yes, there is a way. I do it all the time. The voicemail should actually say "to mark this one unread and move on to the next message press 1(or whatever number it is)" I know that 7 deletes, 9 saves. If you aren't getting this, then try contacting customer care. 1-800-639-6111.

Unfortunately, there is not a way that you can do that. You would have to listen to them..And you are right there is no option to do that. Therefore it is not supported.. I have pasted a link about voicemail on the Nextel side for you. Don't know if it will help. Have a great day!!!

I press the # key after I listen to the message and it keeps the message as new with my Nextel.

I do not have nextel I have sprint but when we check our voice mail messages all we do is hold down the # 1 button on the keypad and it will take you right to the voice mail area and allow you to check them after you follow the prompts and enter whatever code you have chosen. if you have not set that feature up....look in your phone's manual.

I hope this answers your question and gets you into your voice mail.....

Just hit # after you listen to the message.
