I am about to move into an apartment building. It has about 25 floors. I was wondering, do plumbing problems become more of an issue the higher up you are in an apt? For example, does water pressure reduce, do toilets not work as well, etc. Thanks for your help!

Assuming the building was constructed properly you won't run into any of those issues. A building that size should have at least 3 high pressure pumps forcing the water up, the only time you might have a problem is during a black out when then is no power to run the pumps.

Not supposed to but there are sometimes problems such as you mentioned. Also the higher up you are, the more risk posed in case of fire. IF you go over about 6 floors up, you have very little chance that the fire department can get you out with a ladder truck as they do not go higher than that. The view can be great and you may even be able to get some good breezes if they let you have open windows but with the fire hazard, you may want to consider a lower floor. Some it may not be a concern but for those that it is, something to think about.
