You don't have to ask. If they out of the blue say it, then you got yourself a winner. Like my baby, this is how he shows that he loves me. It's the little things that matters the most. He noticed a while ago that I was sad because I tilted my head to one side and told me that he was gonna be there for me and as long as he had me, everything would run smoothly. We've been together for 2 years and about a month. That's love.

Simple really just say I love you and if you get it back then you'll know that person loves you back. It's not that hard! I told my man those 3 words first and then he returned them. We have been together nearly 3 years now and he always says it first. I do too on occasion say it first but I like to hear it from him first. We say it at least 10 times a day. Good luck!

Does s/he pay attention to you? Does s/he try to give you every comfort they can? Does s/he respect your opinions? Does s/he make you feel beautiful, and free of restraint, when you are together? Does s/he make spontaneous good things for you?
I think that if you can answer yes to three of those, you can ask them and be pretty sure of a positive answer.

just make a joke of it I would offer him the last sweet or piece of chocolate and say you can only have it if you tell me how you feel about me but laugh while you say it cause if he only says I like you a lot at least you do not look heartbroken

you will know by the way they treat you and you can feel it in your own heart and all you can feel the love flowing from all around you both. love is a wonderful feeling. i can promise you, you will know.....
