externships are done after graduation. At this time you would not qualify for an internship. Just apply for entry level positions and remember that if you would like to work for a company that generally hires their interns then you could always get in through a staffing service. Just call the HR dept of the company and ask them if they use a staffing service like Kelly Temporary Services and which one in particular. That would be a great start for you.

ya should have asked at school. Try a local college or look into a job fare.
Interns are usually for juniors going into senior. you want an entry level position.
