I watched the stage one, it's awesome...but I like the movie more...I like the cast more...and ofcoz...directing of movie is better

Gerard Butler was a great Phantom! I love the play to! I saw it about 3 times already and I might go see it again.

I have loved this story for years- way before Lord Andrew made his musical (But love that too!) However, I felt the casting was unbelievably lame for the movie. Gererd Butler did not have the power of voice or presence to play this role. I was disappointed enought that I watched about the first third of the film, and just had to bail on it. What a waste of time and money.

the phantom movie is really good, as the play is. but either way you see it, it is totally awesome. but the movie is a more convinient way to get your phantom fix. i should know, i've seen it 67 times.

I loved the movie. But I have seen it live on tour and on Broadway. I much prefer it live.

yes i did really like it. i saw the Broadway play in new york when i was about 16, loved that too!
i really enjoy the music to it.
