Always check out what names get shortened to.
London gives us Lon, or Don. Lon's unusual, OK. Don's normal, if that's your thing.
Burlin gives us Burl, which seems kind of cool, and Lin, which is way too normal.
I go with Burlin.... but wouldn't you want to spell it like the city, Berlin, if that's what you're after?
