If you think you may have a block in the hoses, go to a repair shop and have the cooling system flushed. It is about $60.00 average. If the flush doesn't work, or it's blocked to bad to be flushed, you will have to replace the hoses and possibly the radiator. If it's too clogged to be flushed, the radiator is basically not allowing coolant to circulate through the engine, thus, causes it to overheat.

Is there enough coolant and water in the reservoir and in the radiator? Perhaps the thermostat on your engine isn't working properly. If you don't know much about it...take it to a shop to have it looked at.

Not sure about the hoses, but ck the antifreeze level if its low top it off, if you smell antifreeze next time it over heats it might have a leak somewhere.

there are a bunch of possibilitys to your problem, but if you have the 4.7L engine, Chrysler has a update for the computer to solve this problem. If you have the 4.0L engine, I'd advise you to have it checked. If you run the engine to hot, you can blow the head gasket and then your looking a major $$$$$ to fix. hope this helps!
