I don't go to search for happiness when I know that I won't be able to find any. I just continue my battle against fate and hope that God will reward me with happiness in my after-life, if there's something like that. And if it doesn't exist, why, still then, I will be able to rest and not think anymore of this sick worldly life. I live only out of necessity, and not for myself. So don't feel melancholy, brush it off, and prepare for further battles, further challenges, which God has cast on your way to test you. Rise to the occasion. This is no time to be melancholy.

Sit in a peaceful way and like
an archaeologist dig within your memories,
perhaps you may find a laugh there, bring
it to the surface, think about what and how that
laugh was created, remember how you felt,
and just maybe a laugh may find its way to your
sad face ......
I hardly ever watch a comedy, they do not seem
to make me want to laugh, Oh, some may bring
a smile or two, but for the most part they do not,
i need to go within
myself and find the reservoir of feelings to re-expose
to myself a past moment when i could have a good
laugh .....
Everything you need for your heart is within you ....
And again,
anyone with children do not seem to realize the magic
in a child's face, the joy they can bring .....

On here! There a definately a few funny people on here, especially on this board. I normally don't find much funny, but some of these posts are a riot!

Otherwise, the Waterboy usually gives me a few good laughs and Mind of Mencia on Comedy Central.

Be happy with yourself first...you can't just watch a movie and it will come out. There is something that made you sad for you to not truly laugh for a long time...what is it? You have to figure that out and whatever it is let it go and you will be free to laugh and be happy again.

I call my best friend from high school and ask her what everyone we graduated with is doing these days---nothing makes me happier than to find out the hot guy who dumped me, who had long blond hair, who played in a garage band, got married, got dumped, got fat, and is now bald..... Makes me feel better about life!
