No. Also, if you buy land in a foreign country you need to read the laws very carefully. Some countries have the right to reclaim the property and you are out of luck. You get no money, no nothing.

Probably not directly and I'm not even sure anyone owns any land in Cuba except for the Government. It could be an excellent investment though if and when the US government and the Cuban government make amends which probably wont happen until Castro dies. You can travel to Cuba but you have to go through Mexico. I would advise doing this first and make some contacts in Cuba so that when things change politically you can get in on the ground floor of any investment opportunities. This also is a very risky investment but it could pay huge in the future. You might try contacting the Cuban Consulate in Washington D.C. They could offer advice.

No. US citizens are not permitted to spend money or accept any gifts in Cuba without a license from the US State Department.
Of course, you also have to deal with the fact that Cuba is a communist country. Under communism, the state owns everything so unless Castro himself approves the purchase you can't buy land anyway. And even if he did, there would be nothing stopping him from taking it back after the sale. And keeping your money. Who would you sue?

No, no one can buy land in Cuba. The foreign-owned resorts etc. lease their land from the Cuban goverment.

Surely you jest. It is not even allowed for a U.S. citizen to visit there. It is been official state department policy for the past 40 plus years. Buying real estate in a communist country would not be a good investment, even if you could.
