As said use a good razor. And take your time. A very good trick is to shower before. this makes the hair softer and easy to cut. Electric razors are good but irritate the skin and they are hard to clean, so you can get an infection.

Learn to shave correctly... use a new razor for starters and go slow. You will eventually learn the curvature of your face and how to properly move the razor over it. Ask your Dad or Uncle to show you.

I'm not trying to be inappropriate here, but use "Coochy Cream." You can order it online. A guy actually told me about it, he shaved his head every couple days & that stuff makes his skin super soft & nick-free. Then another guy standing nearby spoke up that he uses it too. Now I use it for all of my female shaving needs, and i swear by it, it's a great product. it's expensive but by far, worth it!!

IT MAY DEPEND ON SKIN CONDITION. IF YOUR SKIN IS AFFECTED BY RASH, BLEMISHES OR ACNE YOU MAY HAVE TO USE AN ELECTRIC RAZOR. THERE ARE ALSO OINTMENT LIKE PREPARATIONS THAT CAN BE SPREAD OR SMEARED ON AND THEN AFTER A FEW MINUTES WASHED OR SCRAPED OFF REMOVING HAIR AS IF YOU WERE SHAVING!
