Crest Whitestrips around $50

If your teeth are fairly white already then I would try crest white trips, I have used them before and I find that they work pretty good, but the part about the results lasting up to 12 months is not true. And by the way they don't cost 50 bucks like the other replies said they cost about 23.99 I believe I paid for them. I think I had a few dollars off coupon though.

i had mine professionally done at the dentist. $100 per tray (so $200 for top and bottom). they make a mold of your teeth and give you these mouthguard looking things and syringes of whitening gel. you put a little bit of gel in each "tooth" thing (in the mouthtray) and wear it for a few hours (depending on how sensitive your teeth are, how white you want them).

they last a while but obviously not forever. when i ran out of my syringes, i just bought crest whitestrips...they worked well too. (and they worked really well on my brother .. which is all he used).

I would say professionally but if you're not willing to spend that much money, get crest whitestrips (they aren't as expensive anymore). Only thing with those, they don't conform to your teeth (like professional ones do) so some of the whitening gel gets on your gums and for me, it made them hurt....

Never tried it but BlanX Toothpaste and whitening treatment has rave reviews. Not too expensive either...( whitening pen £7 and toothpaste £7 although Boots has got it on special offer!)
It uses Arctic lichen (!) and the website has this to say about it....

"The lichen, which grows naturally in the Arctic, contains active natural ingredients which attacks harmful bacteria involved in the formulation of plaque and tooth decay, and not the beneficial bacteria found naturally in the mouth.
It naturally whitens the teeth by several shades without harming the gums or enamel..."

If you try it let us know if it works !!!!

I have asked a couple dentists this same question...they all told me that the Crest Whitening Strips are the best thing you can buy. Also, if you look around to different dentists, sometimes they offer free whitenings when you become a new customer....there is one by my house that is doing that.

Crest Whitestrips are the best kit. Stores will cost you $40-$50. Cheepest I've seen is: http://www.otcplus.net/ They're always around $20-25.

well for my dentist to do it, it will cost about $900 and it will take 2 sessions. i am planning to do it after school starts up for my kids and i have more time.
on the other hand those crest strips work pretty well, but you will not get results like you will from the dentist.
