Israelis have tried to live in peace since before Roman times. And they managed pretty good until the birth of the Islamic religion. They have since been persecuted by the crazy notion that all the world needs to convert to Moslem or perish for 1300 years, and the Nazis for 15 years, and by those who hold them responsible for the death of Christ.
