I mostly stick with classic styles. I have a couple pieces and some accessories that are on the trendy side just to add some spice to the classics. But I definitely don't try to copy what others do. My own personality shows through in how I wear my clothes and accessories.

I follow the trends somewhat, but I don't wear anything I don't like or pile too many on at once. I happen to like the new stacked heels, honestly, that's about it right now...leggings, legwarmers, too many bad dreams from the 80's!
I tend to mix something trendy with something classic. It's OK to be up to date & fashionable, but being a complete trend rat does show that your personality is "follower."

Nope. You can look nice, elegant, girly, cute, etc. without following trends. I personally can't stand them because most people follow trends because they are sheep; if the ugliest shoes in the world were "in" everyone would be wearing them. That's why I don't buy anything that's pink. I wear what I want because I like it and sometimes it happens to coincide with whats trendy.

I agree with you, my style is what fits my personality and personal style. If a trend fits into that, then I may just be making a purchase! But I don't try to fit myself into anyone else's trends. I work too hard for what I earn, it is not going to be spent recklessly.

I don't really. People wear rediculous belts OVER their shirts, I've never done that in my life. I've never worn spandex under a jean skirt. I wear clothes from Abercrombie, but that's because I like them. I will read fashion magazines, but that's only in case I want to find something cute, I don't pull the outfit right out of the magazine, but I do it myself. If something "goes out of style" I still will wear it because I like it.

Nah, not really. I mean, if a trend happens to be really cute on me, sure I'll wear it... but some trends make me throw up in my mouth a little - like ponchos, and those flat little sparkly slippers, and, uh, those plastic clogs that are popular right now... WHY PEOPLE?
So... no. :)
