I got reading this article in Popular Science the other day, and I'm curious what people think. It talks about mysterious particles that fell to earth from space that might be extraterrestrial in origin:

I've found two articles, the one you mention in Popular Science and another inhttp://www.newscientistspace.com/article/mg18925411.100.html a British publication called New Scientist.

New Scientist, March 2, 2006, page 34.

According to the articles more research is being conducted. I understand no DNA has been found but otherwise the particules appear to be living. Interesting. I suppose there is no settlement on the question. Can't wait for more information.

Tons of 'alien' particles fall every year from space. That is just the way it goes. We have two big periods of meteor showers (Leonid and Perseid) and lots of particles in between.
