Depending on what part of body. Mild irratation to constant sting (comparable to that of a bee).

I have two. I have one on the small of my back. Right on my spine. The other is right beside my left pelvic bone. The tattoo's do hurt, but it is a bearable pain. It depends on where you get your tattoo. Your skin is thicker and thinner in some places. This process will sting, but the tattoo artist is always willing to take a break if you need it. My tattoo's were not bad. I thought that the one on my back was going to be painful but it actually was not. I had friends with me that kept me distracted. That helped a lot.

i myself personally and in love with the "pain" of a tattoo. I enjoy them and think they are the most beautiful work of art you can put on your body, your temple. I am not going to lie, since it is your first tattoo...you are not used to the feeling so it will be uncomfortable for a short while. Once you begin to get used to it, the feeling becomes an actual heat sensation on your skin and then what you most likely feel is good because it starts to become pleasing for most people. I guarantee it is not all that bad b.c if it was so many ppl would not have tattoo's

I have a tattoo on my back. It hurt some. I can't handle pain very well, but it wasn't too bad. It also depends on where you get your tattoo. Mine hurt worse in some areas than in others. Honestly the worst part for me was when he started in on the fattier part of my back closer to my sides. (My tat is on the small of my back radiating out towards my hips and sides.) I had one part that was right over one of the vetebrea in my back and it hurt pretty bad too. I didn't cry or anything, but is smarted. Also, I htink the outline of a tattoo hurts worse because your body isn't used to it. Once you get into though, it's like the pain starts to go away because your body gets used to it.

Imagine a needle poking you over and over again, thousands of times. This is what a tattoo feels like. It hurts in the beginning but after a while, you become used to the pain. I mean, it still hurts but whatever. Goodluck!

I have 3, and my best description is that it feels like someone is slowly dragging a white-hot exacto knife through the topmost part of your skin. You get used to it though, and no matter where you choose to have it placed, some areas they work on will be more sensitive than others. I recommend taking some kind of pain medication before you have it done, like Advil or Tylenol. Zanax is better!

most people say it doesnt hurt that much. For me it hurt alot- you can't really describe it. Like a electric needle shooting across your skin. Depends on where you get it, hurts more on bone. But after the pain is over, it is addictive and you want another one. I have one and though I'd like another the pain keeps me double minded. But most don't feel like I do, I know people with several who say it doesn't hurt that bad

It is like needles pricking your skin over and over again. For me the shading hurts worse than the outline. The shadingis like 10 needle or so bunched together and scraped over your skin. It is painful but your adrenaline kicks in and helps out a lot.

It kinda feels like someone is cutting you with a hot razor blade. While that may sound painful its not really. It kinda burns a little, The more fat tissue you have the less it hurts. Gettting one on top of bone kills.

I have a few. It will make your face flush at first. A sharp pain that hurts a little but area gets numb enough to tolerate the pain... a natural reaction that helps us when we are being hurt. You can handle it.
