When A guy ejaculates into the vagina, how does pregnancy occur, when logically wont the semem (***/fluid) flow back out if and when she stands up? (does this mean a woman should stay lying down or lift her legs to allow the semen to travel up?)

Most are saying SPERMS swin, yet the sperm is IN the semen, they dont swim away from the semen, so does tat mean if the semen hasnt been shot out with force to hit the target in the cervix etc, that then its ineffective?

If you have good swimmers, its a done deal. And if you go deep inside her (which for her sake you should) that plants them where they need to be - precum can cause pregnancy too ans d that is there long before ejacualtion

Even if a woman stands up, sperm/semen will make it to the cervix and travel up into the womb. It helps if she lays down and puts her legs up of course. It has to do with positions too. Rear entry (doggie style) will allow of deeper penetration, which allows the sperm a shorter distance to travel while more shallow positions like woman on top or missionary make it hard to reach the cervix. It all about timing too. A woman is only fertile for about 24 - 48 hours each month. Sex has to occur 24-72 hours BEFORE ovulation in order to conceive. A woman with a normal 28 day cycle will usually ovulation 14 days after the first day of her period - that means sex would have to occur 10-13 days after the first day of her period.

The whole standing up or sitting down just is not true. Semen mixes with vagina juices and sperm can them swim upstream true vaginal fluids.

Think about there are hundreds of millions of sperm in a given ejaculation and it just takes 1 to fertilize an egg. That is why so many girls get pregnant when guys try to do the withdrawal method. They think if the sperm doesnt get ejaculated in them, they wont get pregnant, but that is just not true. Even the pre-ejaculation from a man while sex is going on is often times enough to get a girl pregnant.

Not all of the semen may flow back out, even if it looks like all or most of it flowed back out of the vagina. There are millions of sperm in a little bit of semen, and all it takes is one for the female to become pregnant.

If the woman is trying to become pregnant, then yes, gravity will help the sperm travel - laying with her legs up could help.

They can still swin and stay in the semen....you're thinking about the whole thing in the wrong context.
Remember there are literally billions of sperm in on ejaculation. The semen contains sperm and sugar to keep those little guys moving. I'm sure if you're trying to get pregnant holding your legs up to keep it in will hellp. But if you're not trying to get pregnant be carefull because even a drop could get you pregnant and it doesn't have to "hit" the cervix.

It is true that sperm is in seaman, but seaman only gives nutrients to the sperm for their long journey. Sperm do swim, they are dropped off into the vagina, swim threw the long canal that is the vagina, and on to the Fallopian tubes to the egg. A woman's vagina is almost always moist, its self cleaning, and when she is excited threw sexual stimulation, she has her own form of lubricant, that not only allows sex to happen, it also gives a way for the sperm to swim to the egg.
Your question about how the sperm back flows south not north is in valid. A woman's vagina is basically like a collapsed canal when not in use during sex or menstruation. Yes you do get some back flow but most of the time the sperm are allowed to stay in the vagina because the walls of her vagina are closed. The same thing happens when she is using a tampon, the walls are closed, holding a tampon in place. I hope this answered your question.

When the woman orgasms her cervix opens and closes, drawing semen (and sperm) up into the cervix and uterus. Even if some semen leaks back out, enough enters her body to cause pregnancy (assuming she is ovulating). It is advisable for the woman to lie on her back with her rear end and legs elevated in order to keep as much semen in as possible, but millions of women get pregnant every year and I can tell you for sure that they're not all elevating their legs.

semen makes a solution with the vaginal fluid and stick to the walls as it very viscuos, the semen as a whole flows like savia through a tree upward due to capillarity and sperm moves all around within it to get to the egg. although "lying down or lift her legs to allow the semen to travel up" is recommended in fertility problems cases for the regular couple in early ages nothing of this is neccesary

Sperm can swim away from the semen, since a woman's vaginal area has its own fluid inside. (Though it is a little harsher environment for them.) Eventually they have to, since the semen itself doesn't flow up and into the woman's fallopian tube, where the egg is actually fertilized. That's part of what makes pregnancy such a miracle- the chances of most sperm surviving inside a woman is really low, but somehow they manage to make it through!

Sperm are motile and quite intelligent for something so small. Even though the ejaculate may come out, there will be no sperm in it. All the sperm have moved deeper in, under their own power. They hang around for a week to ten days waiting for an opportunity to make the woman pregnant. Because, in fact, a woman is only fertile for about 3 days out of her cycle. This means a woman usually gets pregnant days after she last had sex.

there are thousands of sperm in the semen, so that greatly increases the chances of some making their way into the cervix. Also, after a woman has an orgasm, her vaginal muscles contract, which also helps get the sperm on their way.

If a woman is trying to get pregnant, it doesn't hurt to lay on stomach or back for a few minutes after ejaculation has occurred.
