Increase your protein intake. Watch your carbs - but don't cut them out completely!! You'll need the energy carbs gives you, for sure. But the protein increase will help you with your muscles &
should help you keep any excess weight. Instead of running before every match - rest. Try a new exercise program - have your coach recommend one or if he can't do it, maybe check out a local gym & see if they can recommend a trainer. At your age, tho, any strict or severe diet is not a good idea - your body needs all the good stuff you can give it because you still have a lot of growing still to do!! Good luck!

Just make sure your not doing it in a way that's unhealthy, e.i. not eating period.
Just count calories. No grains, bread, etc. They stretch out your stomach and cause you to eat more to fill it in. Try protien bars instead of a meal, averages about 220 calories per bar. And if you find the right ones they can be really good. Remember that muscle weights more then fat, so the more you work out the more your likely to gain weight even though your eating habits are changing.
Also remember that your a teenager. You need to eat in order for your body to develop properly. Puberty doesn't end until age 21, so keep that in mind.
Good luck.

Eat often and light. Small meals thoughout the day will keep for metabolism running so you will be able to manage your weight effectivly. I'd stick with lots of fruit and vegetable, but don't rule out lean proteins. Soy based products are good for this. You can use tofu for just about anything, but I like to use it for make homemade protein shakes especailly.

You are still a growing boy (no offense, but you are). Eat as much as your body wants. Lift weights and get strong.
If that means you move weight classes, so be it. When you are fourty years old, you won't have health problems from stupid diets. It's just a sport, all be it an important one to you. Your whole lifes health is more important.

yeah, cut out most your fat. Take in lots of vitamins and minerals from your foods and supplements to keep your body healthy. Eat smaller meals every 3 hours to speed up your metabolism. Get lots of protein to build your muscles up. Take in complex carbohydrates regularly and simple ones in moderation. Drink lots of water. Consider energy supplements like dextrose or maltodextrin products. Look into energy drinks like red bull which supply brain and body boosting substances like taurine. Possibly take an amino acid supplement for your muscles.
