What do you think would make her angrier; you telling her that she smells, or knowing that you all are talking about her behind her back?
If you are really her friend and mean her well, then get her alone and just tell her. People tend to be immune to their own body odors, good and bad, so she is probably unaware that she has an offensive aroma.
Be honest, but be sensitive, but be prepared that she may react negatively; no one wants to be told the stink. However, I'm sure that she will appreciate being told in the end.
Good luck with that...

Just tell her but be tactful. Pull her off to the side and tell her without embarrassing her. I won't lie to you she may get upset but at least she will know that if you can smell her so can others. I can tell you that giving the give of shower gels and deodorants and body sprays doesn't always work. It's kind of like ppl that drink coffee and smoke and then want to talk in your face but won't take the stick of gum/breath mint you offer. Her feelings may be more hurt if you do it in such a manner. You and your friends need to come together and do this as a unit. If you care about your friend that is. Bottom line, she'll respect you more for your honesty and face to face talk.

(1) Collect $50 from among your concerned friends.
(2) Purchase shampoo, facial and body soap, underarm deodorant, toothpaste, a toothbrush, mouthwash, minty dental floss, ginger capsules, Gas-X, a can of feminine deodorant spray, and a pair of Odor-Eaters.
(3) Obtain a large box and pack it carefully, then wrap it.
(4) Get someone your friend does not know to address and mail the package (That way you can say you did not mail the "gift.")
You might be doing her a huge favor.

have a little get together for her with all of your friends and like a surprise party... everyone get her stuff like deodarant and soap and make sure you get those bath gift sets. If may not tell her that she smells but i bet she will use them
tell her the party is to show her how much you appreciate her being such a good friend to you. and to show her how much you love her... if that doesnt work then get someone that she does not like to tell her... then if she gets mad she will be mad at them.... also maybe her mother never explained to her the importance of hygiene and the gifts will help her learn on her own... maybe you could talk as she opens them as to how and why you use them and like them so much

Just tell here that she has a problem regardless of her possibly getting upset. She will be better off knowing so that she can deal with it.

it depends on the level of intimacy to each other, if very close, tell her in a very concerned manner so that she will not be offended, it can be you and her alone so that she will not be embrarassed with other friends.
if you dont have enough courage, you can also write her a letter....
good luck

If it really bothers you and your friends, you probably want to ask her if she uses deodrant and/or body spray. Say she smells and you just can't take it anymore. Say you're not trying to hurt her feelings, you're only trying to help.
