This is a wonderful question because when I was in high school, I was considered one of the 'geeks' in a way. My aunt taught at the same school I attended, so a lot of the rebuff of her being a teacher was piled upon me. In addition, many of these kids went to middle school together and I stepped in at the 11th grade hour. So, I didnt' have a 'lot' of friends. What I did discover is that because I could sing - there was a great level of 'respect' there. I was not invited to many of the "cool" kids parties (basically because my aunt would not let go), so the invitations stopped coming. Now - our first class reunion! Ha! What a payback. We had to submit information on what we had been doing for the past 10 years and because I love to write, you can imagine I had a mini-book. The classmates all had a chance to read this prior to the reunion. Imagine me, stepping into the hotel lobby, searching for my name on the table and people rushing me- hugging me, asking questions, admiring my 'look' (I was living in Hollywood/Los Angeles) and they were still "Flint, Michigan"-never-left-city kind of people. In some ways I felt exhubirated! Finally, I was 'something' in their eyes and they had not had the experiences I had. As I looked around the room and studied the booklets - and talked to the classmates, I discovered that many of them were married, still living in this dead town, had not completed college, had been no where. I felt a certain reprieve, a feeling that I had made some accomplishments that they had not. It taught me a lot about myself and how powerful and strong I really am. While I might not have "fitted" in my high school days, I really felt that I had done something with myself and my life was not hum drum. I also realized that these are people who have experiences that I probably never had. It was clear that though our paths were diffierent - and there were two roads diverged - I am glad I chose the one less travelled by.

The popular people ended up fat - HAHA and the unpopular people ended up successful, not really attractive but they have happy little lives or so it appears. I'm happy, I was a fatty fat fat and shy. Now I'm fit and personable. It's been 14 years but I'm very happy and it was really nice going back to the ten year reunion and I was in better shape than just about everyone there. The jocks had beer bellies, and I used to weigh 308 lbs and they always made fun of me, now they're sitting there with their ugly wives and their guts hanging over there belts - it was a nice scene. Life has a way of rewarding those who persevere.

The 4 unpopular little ones I knew seem to have long gone directly to fulfillment as criminal expert, dentist, wellness care provider and psychololgist. i ask your self how a lot of them would be on the reunion?

The nerds inherited the earth. They are all much more successful than any of those that were deemed popular. I was good looking but scholarly and I married the bad boy I dated in high school after a 20 year separation. We find that many of his cool friends burnt out and many of my friends went on to have very successful careers. My nerdy friends are now VP of companies in charge of his cool friends who are asking them for a job or just plain drop outs from the human existence.

I remember one of the most popular people in my high school actually dropped out of school. Last I recall, he was working as a dish washer. As for the least popular, the nerds, they went on to become productive members of society, establishing themselves into the middle class.

it was really funny!i belong to the first section in our class and you'd expect where the smartest of the class dwell.i never got the chance of meeting them personally but thru my friendster i got to know where they are now.the shy and quiet unpopular classmates are now roaming the world!some are in canada, california and even egypt.im here now in south korea and i belong to the middle popular group.the bright and popular classmates are staying in the philippines(thats where i came from)working in some office, some already got a family, most are staying at home and are jobless.it came me to think now that being smart and doing real good in highschool doesnt really guarantee u a good or bright future.its just depends how u work on it :)

i've only been out of school for 2 years, but as far as i've heard, most of the popular ones ended up either not going to college or dropping out of community college. most of the unpopular ones are in universites, etc.

popular people either got good jobs and grades or dropped out becoming total (excuse me) a~~holes. unpopular people did okay and some are doing really well, its hard to say really. its been known for popular people to have better life, because of their beauty, status, and intellegence, it depends though.
