On the question - I think it will not affect them. I have seen photos, and read testimony, of mothers in the holocaust camps, who were starved and fed what not, and were skin and bone, but gave birth to big, healthy babies... the baby will take what it needs from the mother's body, it's the mother's resources that need to be replenished.

I wouldn't worry too much unless she begins to show signs of food poisoning. It's not as if she took a swig, then decided to drink the whole thing is it? If women had pregnancy complications everytime they ate something off, I think there'd be a lot less healthy babies in the world. If you are still worried, ask your doctor or midwife.

your body has the capability to ingest certain things and not get harmed off milk may cause upset tummy but no harm realy, please dont worry too much your wife may be stronger than you realise. good luck for the future.

no. she may have an upset tummy for a day or so but thats all ! dont forget we eat some junk in our time and expect our unborn babies to take it on board so cant see this being a problem
