I have what would be considered a grown up job now. Pretty good money. Benefits. Responsibility. The whole deal. And it sucks. Best job I ever had was a valet at a restaurant downtown. Easy money, very little responsibility, people were cool, and the hours were awesome. Granted, I couldn't live the lifestyle I have grown accustomed to now on the money I made there, but during college, that job was the sh*t and my life was much simpler.

First job--- at a Chuckwagon (place in the west where you are served a western meal while live cowboy music is being played.

I was 13- and didn't get minimal wage ($5.15/hr) but started off at $6.00/hr and got a 25 cent raise every paycheck (every two weeks) and if I am really doing well, I would get a 50 cent raise. ;)
It was only a summer job but I ended the job after school started at $9.00/ hr. The next summer, I did it again and the cool thing was I started at $9.00/ hr. and continued working up!!!

I also liked that I did all the 'chores' in groups--- washing silverware, cups, dishes; making the food like spuds (potatoes), barbecue chicken, beef, & ribeye steak, baked beans, applesauce, spicecake, and an awesome biscuit. mmmm good!!

It was the best job I have ever had--- totally EASY money!!!!

I was a driver for Holiday Inn, but it was actually the worst job I've ever had. I worked night shifts so the pay was crap. The shuttle van I drove was falling apart, but the owner and management was cheap as hell and never did a thing to fix it. The windows were busted, one of the back doors was broken so I could only open one door when loading alot of luggage, and the seat belt was broken once and they tried to make me drive without a seat belt. People would treat you like "the help" and would rarely tip. BLEH.......

All of my jobs were always both good and bad.
I had a great job making heart catheters, until they changed the pay scale.
I have a crappy boring job as an office manager for a diagnostic pharmacy, but I can't beat the pay and benefits.
All of them were the best job I ever had at one point in time or another!

I worked for a chocolate company. One day I was the one pushing on the nuts to sink them in the chocolate in the little molds. We did dark, milk and white that day. It was the best day I had to work in my life! Especially when I had to clean my hands, yummmmy!

Other then that, I had fun doing the clown for big companies during Christmas time. That time of year goes by too fast even whiteout working! :-)

My best job ever was/is working at a guitar shop. What more could a musician ask for, well maybe more than the $30k/year I earn. But hey, I love going to work.

Do what you really like...be your own boss! Own your company! Man, it's the thrill of a lifetime. Work hard, get known, sell a lot, hire workers and eventually make a lot of money just managing your team!

I had a great job when I worked in Vegas at a photo place. I got to work in my own darkrooms all day and not deal with a lot of people. Plus it's a lot of fun making pictures in a darkroom. I miss it.
