I am answering because I see quite a few posters giving you spam (fake) answers , or incorrect ones: this is why: David V said "Banacnac" ; he is obviously drunk Tony G said "Bartamana" ; this is colloquial word it means glass jar (has nothing to do with Aladdin's story) All the people who said "Fanous" (which means Lamp as well) are close but its not the correct word used in the story book. Fanous is generic for any lamp or light. the answer "ki jadui chirag." by Now Now is not Arabic, perhaps this is Urdu? starsysmzg said "Wal La'at Allah Din" ; this means "Lighter God Faith" , obviously wrong. Aladdin is compound name for Alaa' + Din , not Allah because its a different word entirely. kishti said "Khanzeer" = Pig. Fanano is the only one that gave you a 99% correct answer. I say 99% because in the book the word "Mesbah" مصباح is used for Lamp , not Fanous. To take me back in time when my family was all alive and well so that I could go home for awhile. So that we could laugh, talk, and hug. IF the genie could just give me that I wouldnt need to wish for anything more.
