if the money order still blank, and you still keep the stub. you could get a refund.

If people already sign, just make a trade, they sign a personal check make out to you, they deposit the money order to their bank. Everyone sastify

Actually, some banks will not deposit a money order in your account if it has already been made payable to someone else. With most money order companies you have to fill out a request for a refund, they probably have the forms at the post office, mail it off with the original money order and they will send you a check for that amount, minus anything they might charge, made payable to you so that you can deposit it it in your account at the bank or cash it.
Just go back to the post office and they will let you know what you need to do though I am almost positive about the above.

depends.

if the money order was made out to another person and you are trying to cash it in, then no.
if it's still blank, then make it out to yourself and sign it.

now, i don't know about the post office, but where i used to work, we sold money orders and if someone already had it made out to the wrong person, they could pay $10.00 and send it away for a refund.

i would contact the post office and ask them their policy!
