Probably around now. Most major magazines come out more like 3 weeks before the month on the cover. More specialized magazines often come out earlier, 4-10 weeks ahead.

Most major magazines come out about six weeks before the month on the cover. I would try and find the September issue now and therefore you will not be disappointed. Most magazines come out at least six weeks before the printed date now. Try looking around for it now. I bet it is out there.
