new bearings gaskets etc have been put in.spent over 1000.00 on it.what recourse besides the dealership does she have under ga law?what could be causing this problem.she keeps the maintence up good.

it could be loading up on fuel dumping it into the oil or a piston could be bad

my experience on this kind of problem has lead to shorted computer, letting the injecter stay on until pressure is gone. Cylinder fills up with gas with no where to go, so it seeps through the piston rings and into the oil. I would think if she's taken it to the toyota dealer that they would have checked for this, but who knows! Also she could have an injector bleeding down once it sits for a few hours. Those are the two most common problems, other than that I'd have to see the car. hope this helps!

A bad fuel injector with leak fuel into the cylinder and than to the oil
