Have you ever been to a wedding where the bride or groom didn't show or said that they "can't go through with it?" If so, what happened? Why did they change their mind? How did the guests react?

I didn't show up to a wedding....my parents were not happy at all. I wasn't really sure that I wanted to marry him in the first place and I was only 18 at the time so I thought that it would tie me down before I was ready to be.
Everyone ended up getting over it with time and since then I have married someone else and have three kids. Every once and a while though it gets brought up at a family get together and everyone has a good laugh. (aside from my mother...she still holds animosity towards the money she layed out for the wedding so it's not to funny to her yet...)
