People have adapted for centurys, why would it be any different now? Of course they would adapt.

Human beings can adapt to anything, for some it is harder, but in the long run there`s no other choice.
Besides, I don`t think these devices make us happier. If you look at the world right now, it is quite a chaos. Our happiness or comfort should not depend on materialism. Our great grandparents or grandparents could live without all that technology, and I`m sure they led more peaceful lives.

You young ones probably could not. I was raised without even electricity. TV was unheard of, let alone computers,cell phones, and only the well to do could have home phones.

more people would have 20/20 vision and possibly perfect hearing. but first it would half destroy the economy, because the people who manufacture these things would loose their jobs and the companies would go out of buisness. same goes for cars and fast food. the world woud be much healthier without them, but we would have to pay the price because our stand on money is so delicate that something like this can make it collapse.
just look at how the american economy fell because of a hurricane

I think it would be hard to adapt after having such a luxury lifestyle but look at it this way
Then u would have no cars, buses trains, and u actually have to go out and kill ur own food!!!

About 75 years ago it was exactly like that.
If you want to find out what you would do, read books about , say, 1900 to 1930.

our way of life would slowdown. example mailing a letter to a friend -vs-making a phone call.think about it!!!!!

we could adapt...we didnt have that stuff before...we can live without it again...
