Middle age, chronologically and biologically speaking, begins around 35 for men and around 30 for women, once the body reaches full adult mass and is in decline rather than growth. Around this time one's ability to heal and shrug off illness shows a marked decline. Skin begins to lose its elasticity, hair becomes coarser and is likely to begin to grey. These are all dependent upon the individual and their lifestyle.
Middle age, mentally speaking, usually begins at the precise moment at which one stops finding farts highly amusing.

Middle age is more a state of mind rather than an actual number. I've known people who acted down right "ancient" (no fun, no parties, no cutting loose, no physical exercising,etc.) in their 20's.
I've know people in their 70's and 80's who are an absolute joy to be around because of their love of life. And their stamina would put those 20-something people to shame. :-)

Generally it is around the 50s.. counting on people living into their 80s or so.
In reality, yes, we don't know how long we are going to live.. so the concept is a bit flawed.. live for today only..

Shoot i guess it depends on the person,If its based on how hard you live then i guess i should already be dead, cant be a number/so i guess its in your heart, if you feel young then your still young. Yep its what you feel inside!
