I mean, if my water would break in the bath tub, could I not notice it, or would it be slowly leaking for some time, so I could maybe see it after while??

Amniotic fluid constantly replenishes itself, so whether you get a big flush or a small trickle, you won't miss it because it will keep trickling out while it is replenishing itself. And not all women's water breaks...sometimes it will need to be broken in the hospital.

Some pregnant woman have a slow leak which the doctor would have noticed most likely at the last appointment. When the water breaks it is all at once and it is a gush. You will notice if you happen to be in the bath.

Your body continues to produce amniotic fluid so even if your water broke in the tub you will continue to have a trickle of fluid until the baby is delivered. If you think your water is broken go to your doctor right away. There is a simple test they can do to see if you are leaking amniotic fluid. They simply wipe you with a special paper and if it turns a certain color then it is amnio fluid.

Some people get a rush and some slowly trickle. Even if yours had a rush, you'd feel more leaking out gradually after you got out of the tub.
Also, it's not perfectly clear. It has a tinge of yellow to it.

It's usually a trickle unless something like hard labor and an open cervix makes it pop. I wouldn't let the doctor break mine, so at 7 cm and an hour away from the birth of my son, my water breaking was like a dam!

Well.. it all depends on how it breaks.. sometimes it's a little trickle all day long.. sometimes it's little gushes every once and a while.. like you're peeing yourself.. Here's what happened to me..

I got up at 4 in the morning because I had to pee.. I sat down.. peed.. got up and started walking back to bed.. then I peed myself.. I cursed and swore because I just wet myself.. and took off my pj's .. started walking back to the bedroom to get another pair and go back to bed when I did it again.. I started crying cause and though " I can't believe I just pi$$ed myself twice" so I turned on the light to clean it up and noticed that it was a little pink.. I didn't pi$$ myself.. my water broke.. and it went on like that for about 3 hours.. little gushes like I peed myself.

My second? All at once.. a huge gush of water..

It all depends.

FIRST, you should not be taking bathes this late in pregnancy FOR JUST THAT REASON! some people, when their water breaks it does just gush out... some people have a SUPER LONG trickle that won't stop... or might stop and then be started again with movement.

I had a big gush (luckily I was sitting on the toilet at the time) and I thought that was all there was...baby's head must have been blocking the hold or something. I went to the hospital..asn I was walking in...it was leaking down my leg. Its kinda like peeing yourself onyl you can't control it. All women are different

theres 2 different types of water breakage... high leak and low leak... high leak is at the top of the placenta and it would look like you were just dribbling pee.. low leak is more of a water balloon poping...but there will still be water leaking for a while after usually every time you take a step

it varies from women to women it might leak slowly, or a bit faster so you think you pissed your self or in uncommon cases it could be the gigantic rush. even if you do it in the tub and dont realize it at first i'm sure you'll realize it after you get out.
