My boyfriend and our other friend thinks it's hillarious when they c that movie!It makes me soooo mad when they laugh... and they know it! I ALWAYS cry on it, I mean, after all, it is my fav. movie!!!

I don't think it's funny because it makes me think of Survivor accounts of the real sinking of the Titanic and how they could hear people screaming as they died. Very sad - and not a nice way to go at all.

The film is so awful that there's a lot to laugh at. My favorite is the guy who hits the propeller and makes a Ping noise like he's a pebble hitting a fan.

I think your boyfriend and friend are creeps for laughing, especially knowing you find it so emotionally moving. I say dump the loser and also find a new friend... that kind of behavior just isn't okay.

Dunno about funny, but it's a bit unrealisitc. No one would last that long in that cold of water and just be flapping thier gums the whole time. IMO he would have frozen much quicker. On a side note, I thought he did an excellent job of teeth chattering...lol
