How does LimeWire work for copyrite laws. is it safe for me to download music from their? or is their a chance I can get caught and fined? also how are you protected from viruses?? is it easier to get a virus from this software? and how do you protect yourself?

what you do is after the music has been downloaded, move it to a separate non-shared folder. they usually get you for distributing, not downloading.
i'm pretty sure limewire doesn't have any spyware. (if you get it from the official site) my computer works fine anyway...but get like ad-aware or spybot if you're worried.

they ask if u will use the music and download illegally, and if u say yes, then they won't let u download it. There is a small chance that u will get caught, I'm not sure about the virus threat. But it is easier to get a virus off of here than other websites, and if u do use it, make sure u have an active spy sweeper or other firewall and virus protection.
