First of all, women who make sex their first priority are either called prostitutes, whores or sluts. Guys are called studs. Those women are looked down upon even by the guys with whom they have sex. Guys are not.
Women have the risk ofhaving children and the guy only interested in sex doesn't want anything to do with that. Yeah, I know about birth control, but birth control isn't 100% effective, and how many guys just interested in sex are going to bring a condom, let alone put one on if she asks him to.
In essence, the woman has all the guys risk of HIV and VD, plus much more. Get it?

It is DEFINITELY not the same with women. More than waiting for just the right time, they are waiting for the right person. I've seen committed virgins pass on numerous attractive guys, and then have sex with me. Why? What did I have that they didn't? I had something that is almost impossible to manufacture:
Sincerity and a genuine interest in these girls outside of their sex. Each of these girls I seriously considered marrying, and even if I never said it, they could sense it. There's no need to lie to them and promise them things that you might not give them, eh?
We give sex more attention than it deserves, although you're right, it is one of our main purposes.

My theory is that women think about the consequences: guys don't have to worry about getting pregnant, carrying a child for 9 months and the pain of childbirth. I believe that even with all the protection in the world, these thoughts are subconsciously going on in a woman's head in terms of sex.
That may be overdoing it a little, but the basic point still stands: to women it's a lot more than JUST sex.

This is a terribly sexist question. There are some guys out here whose primary goal in life is not necessarily sex. We might feel the need stronger than women but that doesn't mean it is our main purpose. I'm not just a dick on two legs and I know there are lots of other guys like me...fortunately

In my opinion, sex is also very important to women, but we also want an emotional bond with the person we are to have sex with. We don't want to feel "used" or cheap. Once we have trust with the person we feel comfortable to let ourselves really be free in bed. Also it is known that men just think about sex a whole lot more than women do. Testosterone I guess....Either way, be sure most of us women thrive on sex too!!

It's just one Mother Nature's tricks to ensure survival of the human race through constant breeding. The only difference is our reaction to the urges. Women just control it/hide it better.
However, it's past time we evolve a little further. Obviously the common sense to use a little self-control over our baser instincts, birth control and famine aren't enough. And for those who think it's only an issue in third world countries take a good hard look at the number of homeless people, kids in foster care, kids with fathers/mothers who aren't paying child support, over-crowded classrooms and unemployment rates in the U.S.!

Well, I have meant men who have greater thoughts besides Sex. I guess, its something to do with the age.
Women are more sensitive and need a lot of involvement and commitment and thats what matters for most of us. And its not that Sex is not important, but we would like to have it and also sometimes just sit back and talk to you as well. Get your appreciations, and respect.

Oh, most women want Romance! They want a guy to treat them like a lady first, like they are something special. They want some respect and gentleness. Then after that they're primed and ready for the little monster guy, lol!
