I got onto this site yesterday for the first time, thinking I would find helpful answers, but after viewing the questions and answers today, I find some of the people sad. Do these people have nothing better to do with their time than to sit in front of a computer and just be rude, or condescending, joke, be ridiculous, immature and disrespectful to those of us who have legitimate questions and answers that can be helpful to someone else?

I know how you feel. If you weed through all the moron's and little kids playing on here, you can get pretty good advice. I've actually become friends with a few people from this site. It is annoying and ignorant the way some people act here . Not everyone answering and asking are this way. Maybe if the kids are all back in school there won't be so much garbage to weed through. You will still have so called adults being nasty or being a jerk. Try doing what I do. Vent all your frustrations on them lol. That's what I do anyway. Stick with it you may help someone with your answer or find the best advice.

Great question!!!

Behavior is a result of your belief system. If a child believes that temper tantrums will get him the candy, then he will do it to get his candy. If he believes that a temper tantrum will get him a spanking, then he won't do it.

You can apply this to any type of behavior. If you believe that it is OK to commit adultury, then you will behave that way. If you believe that it is wrong, then you won't do it.

This is why it is important to enforce a good belief system in children so they don't grow up to be like the idiots answering your questions.

God provides the best belief system for people in His holy bible. Following it will reinforce the behavior of wisdom, truth and love.

I'm sure many will disagree with me saying the bible caused the crusades, blah, blah. But what they fail to realize is that those people were not following the bible, but their own filthy desires. The same goes for pastors who commit adultry and steal from the church, etc.

The terrorists teach their children that killing Jews and Christians is how you get to heaven. So, it's no surprise that these kids are growing up with hatred for anyone who isn't muslim. That's why they are willing to be a suicide bomber. They believe it is honorable.

Belief dictates behavior.

The idiots on YA believe it is funny to be immature, etc. and that is why they do it. You should go to the religious section and see the maturity level over there. It's pathetic. The hatred is absolutely sickening too. But since those people believe that God is a myth and those that follow Him are weak, their behavior is to ridicule those who believe in God.

Belief is a powerful thing. It is the only thing that dictates behavior in life. If I give you a glass of water, but you believe that it's poison, you won't drink it until you're convinced that it's only water.

Think of any scenario you can and every time, your action is a result of your beliefs.

People will do what they want for whatever their reason, whether its right or not. Its just in our human nature. I go on this site to make jokes and sometimes insult those who ask the stupid questions but when I see a question that I can really help out in, I try my best to give them the answer they want.

There's definitely a lot of youngsters playing on Yahoo. I can only imagine that they are bored stupid and just trying to rattle someone's cage. There are good people on here that will give you good answers but sometimes it takes a while or you have to really be sure you explain your question well, otherwise there will be some people who will try to judge or condemn you even if they don't understand the question. Good Luck to you and don't give up. Good people are out there.

It's so much easier to be careless of people's feelings. Being compassionate requires a real effort to see the other person as a real, complex human being with a personal history, emotions, thoughts, memories, and dreams. Especially difficult for young people, who don't have as much understanding or experience with people.

Parents.
I definitely blame the parents.
I'm waiting till school begins. Let's see if the adults behave any better.....

It's all the parents fault. They don't beat these kids often enough. That's what it is. Parents!!

If you're looking for a practical answer, people behave according to their upbringing and culture.

If you want a religious answer, we were created in god's image. I think that explains it all.

i think it is because they aren't well educated enough ( manners and intellect) to be able to help so instead they try to make light of certain matters to feel more secure about their lack of education....
